QUOTES & PRICING

A surcharge will apply for destinations outside 20km of Melbourne CBD

Quotes are based upon the information the customer has provided. Any destinations which were not advised to Black Penguin at the time of quoting, may incur additional charges.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 14 days.
 

PAYMENT & DEPOSITS

A deposit of $200 per vehicle, must be paid when booking is confirmed.

All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of notice period given.

The balance of any monies outstanding must be paid at least 14 days prior to the hire date.

Payments can be made by cash, direct bank deposit, bank cheque or money order only.
 

EXTRA TIME

Black Penguin will allow a grace period of up to 15 minutes beyond the total hire time, free of charge.

An amount of $75 per hire car, per 30 minutes or part thereof will be charged for any hire time in excess of the agreed hire duration. Any monies charged under this clause must be paid on the day of hire.
 

LIABILITY

The customer acknowledges, subject to any rights the customer may have by law, that Black Penguin’s liability, where permitted, is limited to total monies paid by the customer to Black Penguin. In no event will Black Penguin be liable (whether before or after the expiry or cancellation of this hire agreement) for any loss or damage which the customer suffers as a result of Black Penguin’s negligence or the negligence of its staff or agents.

Black Penguin will not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of breach by Black Penguin of this hire agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost arising from the loss of use of the hire cars and the costs of any substitute replacement car(s) which the customer acquires.

Personal information collected from customers via an online quote request form only relates to information required to complete a customer request. This information will be respected and treated as confidential. Information shall not be sold, exchanged or given to a third party unless needed to provide the service a customer requested.
